I listened to “Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride” by Disney and “Mahalo” by Souljah a moment ago. While the music was played on, my mind and soul suddenly flew higher and higher and dropped in a land where people lying on a secluded beach, your troubles drifting away with the gentle ocean waves. Exploring lush tropical rain forests, immersing themselves in a thousand different shades of green and blue. SCUBA and snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, coming face to face with schools of rainbow-colored fish. Toast another day and catch another brilliant sunset. Dancing hula with friendly other foreigners.
While I was dreaming, I stumbled upon a website that said something like this,
“A recent shark attack off of Waianae, Oahu has made headlines across the world. However, incidents of sharks biting people in Hawaiian waters are very rare, occurring on average at a rate of about 3 or 4 per year. Fatal shark bites are extremely rare, especially considering the number of people in Hawaii’s waters.” - About.com
Made my dream melted away at once. While I was thinking about snorkeling in a clear water, meeting various kinds of colored fish, smiling to them and pulling out my hand to reach on of them… but a shark came up and bit my hand. Ouch!
Huahahaha!
Around more than 2 weeks ago, I entered to a blog site with the webmistress resides in Hawaii, and she wrote something about “Some planes in Hawaii suspended or closed down, except for the Hawaiian Airlines”, really, is that true? How is the situation there now?
Today’s question for you: Have you ever been to Hawaii? Tell me a bit of experience! Or if you haven’t, tell me what you did and felt when you went to a beach. ?
