When you spot a girl, usually tall and she also has small waist, small hip, small bust, small thigh and other small things, she always be considered as skinny and everyone will start to complain and tell her that she should gain some weight eventhough she herself does not want to. She should not exercise. She should eat more.
Now, take a look at the definition first. The ideal weight for everyone is when the calculation for Body Mass Index is 20, and below that number you are considered as skinny. But why do people keep complaining to them directly and keep telling them that they should gain weight? On the contrary, we hardly ever see people complain to those with Body Mass Index above 20 and tell them, “Oh you are too fat and you should lose some weight,” or, “you are not allowed to eat that,” or “you are too fatty, you REALLY should exercise.” Don’t you think that there is a little discrimination here? That skinny people are often complained and complained and again and again while the inverse are not! Now again, What’s so wrong in being skinny?
Firstly, they are just another ordinary group of people that ONLY have the BMI under 20! You cannot just discriminate them by pushing them over and over and over again to eat or remind them, “have you eaten?” or moreover YOU ASK THEM WHAT THEY HAVE EATEN. And if they answer, “I ate a loaf of bread today,” people will tell them that they should eat a plate of rice or more. Therefore, bread itself contains eggs, butter, and flour that actually consists lots of calories up to 200-300 calories and it is almost equal to a regular plate of rice.
Secondly, being healthy does not equal to having BMI 20. BMI 20 only an ideal weight. Not weight that is considered healthy. Having a healthy body means inside and out. You love yourself, you love your body, you love people around you, you have your passion to do is a way to live a good life that mean you have a healthy mind and soul. Furthermore, having a healthy body means you are not in any medication, or you suffer in certain diseases, eat regularly fruits and organic food that contains a lot of vitamins, minerals, and less fat that can clog your veins lead you to heart diseases, stroke, and high cholesterol.
Thirdly, without being hyprocrite, everybody mostly women want their body as skinny as they can get. Even girls that considered as ideal already they also want to lose some weights. And if there is this skinny girl is already skinny, why should you tell her that she should gain some weight while the whole other people want to have a skinny body? Just let the girl lives as what she wants to live! The main important thing in this life is to prolong your life, how can you do that? By living healthily ever after! Ladies and gentlemen, you do not really know what this skinny girl has eaten to live up her day. And being healthy does not mean to eat more. Just.. let them live the way they want, it’s up to them whether those skinny girls want to eat healthy or unhealthy food. That’s their choice. And also it’s everyone’s choice including people with BMI equal or above 20.
Fourthly, the unique advantage of being skinny girl is you can put on every dresses. From the ordinary ones in the market, mall, stores till the luxury and branded ones like Bottega Veneta, Dior, Chanel, and Marc Jacobs. Most of the dresses are small, and only can be looked so nicely to those girls with for example, small legs, small hips, and small arms. And this is the case that you keep telling those skinny girls to gain some weight? Until what BMI? 20? 21? 25? 26? In what purpose if she just keep eating and eating without considering the nutrition inside?
So ladies and gentlemen, from the first point until the fourth argument, I want to stress that there is nothing wrong of being skinny and so please just stop telling them to gain some weight and let them live and let them choose to be healthy or not.
Thank you.
